Donate Food

Donations of fresh or non-perishable foods may be brought to CFC on Wednesdays between 9:00 and 4:00 or Thursdays from 9:00 until 3:00. Non-perishable food and personal care items may also be left in collection baskets at the following locations in Manchester and Dorset: Manchester Town Office Building, Shaw's Supermarket, The Manchester Community Library, the Dorset Post Office, First Baptist Church, United Church of Dorset and East Rupert, First Congregational Church, Israel Congregation Synagogue, Christ Our Savior Parish, and Zion Episcopal Church.

Volunteering at CFC is a great way to meet people, help your neighbors, and sometimes get a pretty good workout, too! We welcome volunteers from throughout the community, though be aware that our distribution volunteers should to be able to stand for the duration of their shift and to lift 20 pounds. Our space can get a little chilly in winter so please dress warmly. In summer months, we also welcome volunteer gardeners at our Plant-A-Row garden at Equinox Valley Nursery. From time to time we also need volunteers to help with special projects and events. Please give us a call if you'd like to lend a hand.
